Technology is a stimulus for innovation, a revolution that has changed the way we live and will continue to do so. Elon Musk, prototypical innovator, is the trait d'union between business, innovation, and politics. Independent and influential, he knows how to move faster than institutions and, unlike other exponents of "big tech," seems to have an ethical view of technology.

Is technology a revolutionary movement in any society?

Technology is certainly a revolutionary movement in any society. It drives innovation, creates new opportunities, and facilitates collaboration between people, companies, and organizations. Technology has enabled progress and development in the short and long term. From mobile phones and computers that enable us to communicate and work from anywhere in the world to healthcare and medical advances using robotics, 3D printing, and artificial intelligence, technology has touched almost every aspect of our lives.

It has created new jobs, and improved transportation, security, communications, and entertainment. Technology, through its tremendous progress and improvement, has brought us to a whole new era where information can be transmitted in the blink of an eye, products can be distributed instantly, services can be provided with a few mouse clicks, and new markets can be opened up that can be reached around the world.

It is quite clear that technology is a revolution that has changed the way we live in many ways. It has opened up opportunities and improved lives in both positive and negative ways, but its impact is undeniable. Technology has the potential to fundamentally change the way societies operate and move forward efficiently.

Over the years, the use of technology has changed the way people think, learn, and live in our society. As technology advances, the more it becomes integrated into our lives and the greater its impact on decision-making and education. With all this in mind, it can be argued that ICT leaders may have the upper hand in the future of governance versus ordinary politicians.

ICT leaders are putting forward a new focus on innovation that can be used to create a more just society, with policies that provide people with better opportunities and access to services. They have unique knowledge of how to use technologies to make government processes and decision-making more efficient and less ambiguous. Technology can also improve the political process not only for politicians but for citizens as well. For example, technology can help strengthen democracy by creating virtual squares in cities, so people can have their say and be heard.

In addition, ICT leaders often have the right skills to deal with both government and the public. They have strong connections to the tech world and often have the skills to bridge the gap between technology and people. This allows ICT leaders to introduce new approaches to problem-solving, decision-making, and engagement.

Moreover, they have many resources that can be leveraged in their arsenal. The technology can be used to reach and collect data from citizens, giving them the ability to make decisions based on accurate data. Moreover, the use of technology can increase the transparency of decision-making, giving citizens the ability to know what is going on behind the scenes of government work more easily.

A hidden disagreement between the IT and Federal Reserve lobbies regarding US decision-making

The debate between IT and the US Federal Reserve lobbyists has been hidden from the public limelight, but it has been raging over the past few years. On the one hand, IT professionals argue that their expertise is essential to the creation and maintenance of modern computing systems and that any decisions regarding currency and spending should be left to experts, specifically central bank authorities.

On the other hand, Fed proponents argue that the Fed’s computing systems are outdated and do not keep pace with the technology used by financial institutions in other countries. They also argue that it should be up to Congress to decide on the final structure of the financial system.

Both sides have convincing arguments and it is not immediately clear who has the upper hand in the dispute. IT professionals know how to make effective and efficient decisions regarding computing systems but lack the authority to implement those decisions. At the same time, Fed supporters have the authority to oversee the country’s financial system, but they lack the technical expertise to upgrade or replace existing systems.

The hidden conflict between IT lobbyists and the Federal Reserve could have profound implications as America moves toward the future. As the use of advanced computer technologies increases, the risks of differences between them can become more apparent.

Ultimately, Congress must decide which lobby group has the upper hand in this conflict, and what outcome to decide on. It remains to be seen whether the tension between the two camps will be resolved so that America can make the most effective decisions in the future.

Elon Musk and his presence on the political scene in the United States

At the time of writing, Elon Musk has not officially announced his candidacy for any political office in the United States. While there has been speculation and interest surrounding his potential political aspirations, Musk has not made any specific statements about his intention to enter the political arena.

Elon Musk’s background as a successful entrepreneur and his projects in industries such as electric vehicles, aerospace exploration, and renewable energy have provided him with valuable experience in tackling complex challenges and driving innovative solutions. His ability to think outside the box and address global issues could shape his approach to politics and policymaking.

Some of the criticisms and concerns surrounding Elon Musk’s potential political future include questions about potential conflicts of interest given his ownership stakes in several companies, concerns about his ability to navigate the complexities of the political scene, and criticism of his leadership style. In addition, some may wonder whether his success in the business world will translate into effective management and policy implementation.

Elon Musk’s political ambitions are likely to affect his current business ventures in many ways. Depending on the level of engagement he chooses, he may be required to devote a significant amount of time and resources to his political pursuits, which could shift his focus away from his current companies. Moreover, his political aspirations may also attract more scrutiny and public attention, which may have both positive and negative effects on his business.

But this does not negate that Musk, through his strong connections, surplus money, and the admiration and interest of the younger generation, may seek to form a lobby in the United States from the two ruling parties, which may change some provisions of the US Constitution, to allow him to run for the US presidency because he is naturalized and not a 100% American citizen. Or maybe the formation of a new movement or a new party.

If he can’t, he may support a particular candidate he may see as the best for the U.S. presidency. Especially since any candidate must have the necessary large funding to fight this fierce electoral battle, which cost in 2020 nearly $ 15 billion, according to the OpenSecrets website, between Biden, the current president, and Trump, the former president.

Elon Musk is different from his peers in the same field

But Elon Musk is radically different from Mark Zuckerberg because he is essentially a former entrepreneur, out-of-the-box thinker, developer, and creator, even before Facebook and Meta were created. Having a huge fortune, Musk is considered the richest human being in history thanks to his future-based projects – he was not weak, say, to comply with the requests of the lobbies, simply because they needed him and not the other way around.

Simply because America needs people like these, who can restore to it the glory of the empire before the financial recession of 2008. Elon Musk and his ilk such as Google owner Larry Page, who was a former partner of Elon Musk, created the “bubble economy” and made digitization stocks at the forefront of global stocks, and their market value is valued hundreds of times higher than their real value, according to Russian economic philosopher Valentin Katasonov.

However, Elon Musk is not like Larry Page or Mark Zuckerberg, the owners of famous tech companies, as he does not have significant personal contacts with American lobbies. He built his success independently, relying on his engineering talents and external strategies.

He has also been a pioneer in advocating sustainable energy and carbon reduction, far from the interests of American lobbyists who may seek to exploit his success and influence. In addition, Elon Musk’s tremendous success may have been around decentralized, open-source development models, reducing the ability of U.S. lobbyists to exert any real influence over him.

By keeping a distance from American lobbyists, Elon Musk ensured that his status as an entrepreneur and innovator could not be threatened with blackmail.

Also, this is what made America neglect the real economy based on industry, and abandon its dementia in favor of China, which has become the first industrial power in the world and has the largest market share also in the global telecommunications market, and this is what makes China’s experience distinct and real.

Elon Musk cares a lot about IT ethics

Elon Musk has always been a strong proponent of supporting the ethical use of technology and informatics. He is driven by a deep sense of responsibility when it comes to how these technologies are used. That’s why he works hard to make sure that the products associated with it — including SpaceX and Tesla — are made with an understanding of their implications. Whether it’s ensuring that the way AI is used in self-driving cars is done responsibly, or that robots help alleviate human suffering rather than contribute to it, Elon Musk has focused on the ethical implications of technological development. For example, Musk recently tweeted that the importance of establishing ethical principles should “…extend beyond AI to any type of automated systems that are created, both in terms of safety and security.”

This is just one example of how seriously Elon Musk takes the idea of ethical use of technology and informatics. It is constantly pushing companies to take responsibility for their actions and think deeply about how they use and interact with their technologies. He even created several SpaceX and Tesla advisory groups to bring experts together to discuss the importance of using technologies responsibly. Elon Musk is a great example of what happens when someone really understands ethical informatics and takes the topic seriously.

Why did Elon Musk visit China last summer and also meet with President Xi?

Elon Musk recently visited China to discuss the potential for cooperation between the two countries and meet with President Xi Jinping. The Chinese government is working hard to make it easier for foreign companies, like Tesla, to set up shop in China. Musk is a key figure in the technological revolution, and his presence in China will symbolize progress toward an ever-closer relationship.

The main reason for the visit was to discuss the future of Tesla’s expansion into China, an important market for the electric car maker. Musk and Mr. Xi explored options such as increasing cooperation on research and development, expanding Tesla’s sales and service presence in China, and further strengthening its commitment to automotive safety. Discussions also included the possibility of Tesla exploring a manufacturing facility in Chinese territory.

The meeting marks an important milestone regarding Elon Musk’s relationship with the Chinese government. With the Chinese market potentially becoming one of the most important international outlets for Tesla vehicles, it is clear that the two countries are striving to facilitate future cooperation. More broadly, the visit represents an opportunity to move from competition to cooperation, something that could be beneficial for both economies. It serves as an example of how to strengthen relations between the two countries and, hopefully, help create a stable and prosperous global economy.

Here, Musk is trying to gain confidence from the world’s leading economic power (China) and win big political cards in his favor. Previously, neither Blinken, the US secretary of state, nor Janet Yellen, the head of the Federal Reserve, were able to do so, as the latter had failed to meet with Chinese President Xi. Musk does not see China as an enemy or the Chinese president as a dictator, as U.S. President Joe Biden claims.
