A descendant of artisan metalworkers from Vicenza, Italy, and the son of an anti-fascist veteran of World War II, Pedro Scuro has devoted his life to sociology as a science and to the design and coordination of research projects with broad social impact. He has collaborated with various international organizationsб such as the United Nations, Transparency International, the International Society of Criminology and the International Forum on Crime and Criminal Law.
