Russia: “Trumpburger” in One Moscow Bar
The price is off the charts, for “real tycoons”
A new “clear and undeniable” signal of Russian interference in the recent US election. Donald Trump’s election victory inspired the owner of a bar in Moscow, the capital of Russia, to offer his customers “Trumburgers” made with Doktorskaya sausage (a type of Russian doctor’s recipe mini mortadella), Rossiysky cheese (from Russia), and a classic American sesame hamburger bun. However, we cannot say that this gastronomic “masterpiece” is selling well: the price is really off the charts: 10,000 rubles ($100). To compensate, the house is offering a large glass of Jack Daniels whiskey free of charge to anyone who dares to order a Trumpburer.
