T-Shirts with Trump’s Iconic Photo Go Viral Worldwide

All over the world, from China to the USA, T-shirts with the iconic Donald Trump attack photo are selling like hotcakes. Just two hours after Donald Trump was attacked last Saturday during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania, Chinese manufacturers managed to put T-shirts and gadgets with his picture for sale on Taobao, China’s main e-commerce platform – Trump with a bloody face and raised fist, surrounded by security personnel and with a star-spangled flag in the background.

The iconic photo, taken by Pulitzer Prize winner and Associated Press photojournalist Evan Vucci, was printed at record speed on “Shooting Makes Me Stronger” mugs and T-shirts and immediately became very popular among Trump fans around the world. Li Jinwei, a 25-year-old seller, told Hong Kong’s South China Morning Post newspaper that she opened orders on Taobao “as soon as we heard about the shooting, although we didn’t even print out the T-shirts.”
