Trump Wins Three Elections in One Day: Idaho, Michigan, Missouri

The former president's victory in the Republican primary is unstoppable

Donald Trump continues his triumphant march through the Republican Party primaries, also winning the caucuses in Idaho, after prevailing in them in Missouri and winning the Grand Old Party (GOP) convention in Michigan.

Three victories in one day, on Saturday, March 2, 2024, which confirm the “strike” by the former president, so far unbeaten in the race to determine the candidate for the next presidential election to be held on November 5, 2024. Trump got 32 delegates in Idaho, 39 in Michigan, and 51 in Missouri on March 2, with Super Tuesday set for March 5 coming up, when primaries will be held in more states, 15 to be exact, and 865 delegates will be assigned. Super Tuesday is preceded by the Washington State primary on Sunday, March 3, and the North Dakota primary, which will have 48 delegates.

Nikki Haley, the last remaining contender for the Republican presidential nomination, has now dropped out of the race, and the tycoon is fast approaching a rematch against Joe Biden. With a total of 2429 delegates up for grabs, Trump and Biden may not have final “numbers” as early as Super Tuesday, but another – announced – triumph would move both inexorably closer to reclaiming the nomination.
