USA: Trump on Trudeau’s Resignation

If Canada joined the United States, “there would be no more taxes and duties”

Donald Trump

As the West continues to accuse Russian President Vladimir Putin of “wanting to create a Soviet Union 2.0,” U.S. President-elect Donald Trump’s comments on Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s resignation announcement come back to “hint” at the possibility of Canada joining the United States as an integral part of it.

In a post published on his Truth Social media platform, Trump wrote that “many people in Canada LOVE being the 51st State. The United States can no longer suffer the massive Trade Deficits and Subsidies that Canada needs to stay afloat. Justin Trudeau knew this, and resigned.”

If Canada actually joins the USA, the 47th U.S. president wrote, “there would be no Tariffs, taxes would go way down, and they would be TOTALLY SECURE from the threat of the Russian and Chinese Ships that are constantly surrounding them.” Trump has also said several times that the USA should establish its own control over Greenland, which currently belongs to Denmark.
