Fulvio Scaglione was deputy director of Famiglia Cristiana, Italy’s most popular magazine, from 2000 to 2016. Moscow correspondent from 1992 to 1997, he covered the transition period of Russia and the former Soviet republics, then the conflicts in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, and the crises in the Middle East.
