NATO Summit of Defense Ministers Continues

An important meeting is to be held today in Brussels. This afternoon, 31 NATO defense ministers will meet. They will talk about the Ukrainian counteroffensive, but particularly they will try to imagine a war that will last in time, and how to fight it. The main problem on the table will be the supply of weapons and spare parts to Ukraine.

In this regard, the US government urged arms manufacturers to accelerate. The American firms that supply most of the weapons are Martin, Raytheon Technologies, General Dynamics, and Boeing.

It is clear that by NATO’s intention, everyone will have to step up their efforts, so it is also expected that European military companies will contribute more to the Ukrainian counteroffensive. Volodymyr Zelensky will appeal to the heads of state and government of NATO countries on July 11 and 12 in Vilnius with a request for further commitments, as he cannot be satisfied with the already doubling production of the Swedish Saab and the French MBDA, as well as supplies from Nexter and the German Rheinmetall.
