Opinions #43/23

Opinions #43 / 23

Starting today and every Friday, readers will find in the Pluralia – Opinions section analytics from authoritative scientists, diplomats, and economists on the dynamics of the current events in international relations.

In a “world system” that is faced with less and less certainty, with greater fears, contradictions, and bloody conflicts, it is not only political and geopolitical clashes that are gradually polarizing. This is also happening at the accompanying cultural and media level.

The consequences of such polarization of public debate, subject to bloc logic, ultimately obstructs understanding and lead to a widespread sense of general instability. Public opinion is overwhelmed by increasingly alarming scenarios.

The purpose of our space for reflection, reserved for international opinion leaders, is to offer approaches and interpretations that are both rigorous and diverse. More than one point of view is presented: the same topic, the same problem is considered from different standpoints. This should allow the complexities of history to find a place among the everyday emotions triggererd by the news flow.
